date stoneNTC is a partner college of The University of Manchester. Through this partnership, the College offers certificate, diploma, and degree courses, from BA through to PhD, which are validated by The University of Manchester, and so carry the "quality kite-mark" of the University.

This academic partnership with The University of Manchester, established in 1992, built on a twenty year tradition of degree granting, first through a sister institution in Canada (from 1973), and then through the CNAA (Council for National Academic Awards).

Church Affiliation

Nazarene Theological College is administered by a Board of Governors composed of members elected primarily by the Church of the Nazarene in the British Isles. The Board also includes participants from the wider college constituency, in the UK and beyond.

The Church of the Nazarene is an international church established in over one hundred world areas. Although small, with a total membership of just under 2 million, it is a growing church. It stands firmly within the historic Christian faith, and is clearly evangelical and Wesleyan.

The denomination lays great importance upon education and supports over fifty post-secondary institutions world-wide. Nine of these are recognised US-based liberal arts colleges or universities, where preparation may be undertaken for many careers. The rest include Universities, theological colleges, seminaries and Bible colleges, many of which confer degrees of university status.

Nazarene Theological College welcomes students from any tradition who believe that they can benefit from the kind and quality of education the College offers. Anglicans, Baptists, Brethren, Congregationalists, Methodists, Salvationists, Pentecostals, Presbyterians, Wesleyans and others share in the life and work of the College.
