Postgraduate coursesPostgraduate studies at Nazarene Theological College are richly resourced by the academic expertise of college faculty, the remarkable diversity of the learning community, and the valuable partnership between NTC and The University of Manchester. All of this makes NTC an attractive option for postgraduate study and research, and has attracted Christian educators, leaders and thinkers from around the world.

The MA in Theology (and linked Postgraduate Diploma in Theology) has a range of study streams which serve to resource missions and ministry, designed to support continuing professional development and act as an excellent platform for further research.

The PhD and MPhil research programmes have established an enviable reputation for quality and rigour. Specialist supervision is available in Biblical Studies (Old Testament, New Testament, Inter Testament), in Church History (with a particular strength in Wesley Studies), Christian Theology, and Missiology and Practical Theology.  The College has recently had approved a PhD (Missiology) which is is designed to facilitate doctoral level reflection on the practice of Christian mission.

The college's close partnership with The University of Manchester brings an added dimension to these awards, as postgraduate students are encouraged to make use of the breadth of resources that this world-class University has to offer.
