The job holder will work as part of a closely-knit team of staff and faculty. Nazarene Theological College is a research-led partner college of The University of Manchester. Founded in 1944, NTC has some 250 students (both full and part time), across undergraduate and postgraduate programmes of study, representing some thirty-five different nationalities and around fifteen denominations. The College also prepares candidates for ordination in the Church of the Nazarene, so the job holder will be expected to be in sympathy with the doctrines of the Church of the Nazarene.
The primary purpose of this part-time post (up to 21 hours) is to design and implement, through the Senior Management Team, a college communications, student recruitment, publicity, and marketing strategy.

'Retired friends' who come by to lick envelopes, hold ladders, brew up, or wield paint-brushes. 'Work & Witness teams' from around the globe who come to Manchester for a week or two to lend skill and resources to specific projects. Longer-term volunteers who come for up to a year to help in the library, to coordinate development projects, to lend a hand with pastoral care, to do whatever comes to hand.
