Drysdale Lecture 2013

This year's annual Drysdale Lecture will be presented by Professor Andrew Walls (Professor of History of Missions, Liverpool Hope University) on April 9th, 2013. His title will be 'The Song of Moses and the Lamb: Africa's First Methodists.'

Contemporary Issues Lectures

Join a series of ‘Conversations’ focusing on how the Church engages with three contemporary issues: Mental Health; Special Educational Needs; and Multiculturalism.
Two NTC faculty members (Deirdre Brower Latz and Dwight Swanson) will be in conversation with specialists in these subject areas – and with those who come to be part of the evenings. The conversations will also be‘webcast', to make these available to those too far from Manchester to attend in person.
The first three sessions on the Church and Mental Health (Jan 29, Feb 5 & 12) have Ron Finlay of Pro Tem Counseling as conversation partner.
The second set of conversations, on Special Educational Needs (Feb 19; Mar 5 & 12) welcome Francine Brower (Consultant on Autistic Spectrum Disorders).
The third conversation, on Multiculturalism (Mar 19, 26, & Apr 2) is with Ezekiel Shibemba (All Nations Church) as the guest specialist.
