Dr Calvin Samuel is the visiting speaker at 'Spiritual Renewal Week,' which takes place February 21st - 26th at NTC.  This annual event draws together spiritual formation and community formation, and includes a series of worship events, community meals, and fund-raising initiatives, and concludes with an all-college retreat to Castleton, Derbyshire.

Dr Calvin Samuel is Director of the Wesley Study Centre (University of Durham).  A Methodist Minster, Calvin holds a PhD in Biblical Studies (King's College), as well as an MBA (Mancheser Business School) and BA (NTC/University of Manchester).  A native of Antigua, Calvin's range of experience includes bank management, university administration, circuit ministry, school shaplaincy, and lecturing in Biblical Studies (NTC; Spurgeon's College). 

Calvin is married to Ramona, and they have two children, Tiana and Fletcher.
