In a thoughtful and considered lecture Canon Woodward explored what it means to think about the issues facing the elderly within the context of spiritual life and faith. The lecture engaged us all by challenging preconceptions, seeking to help those in ministry engage with the elders in their midst.

James Woodward is a Canon of St. George’s Chapel Windsor. He has written extensively in the area of Pastoral and Practical Theology; Pastoral Care and Counseling; Death and Dying; Healthcare Ethics; the Nature and Practice of Sector Chaplaincy; Healthcare Chaplaincy; the Theory and Practice of Care; Aging and Spirituality; and Social Policy and Management.
